ABC Programs

ABC Kuwait is dedicated to providing education, assistance, and special programs to create a brighter life for children with autism and their families.

Developmental Assessments

ABC provides functional assessments to determine skill levels and deficits in social skills, communication, self-help skills and academics.

1:1 Intensive ABA Intervention Instruction

We provide direct one-on-one home-based and center-based ABA intervention, depending on each individual child’s needs that are determined after the assessment.

Parent and Teacher Consultation

Our consultants can help set up an in-home program designed according to your child’s strengths and weaknesses to guide you on how to effectively work with children with autism. Addressing developmental delays as early as possible can make a profound difference in a child’s life.

Center-Based Programs

ABC provides functional assessments to children and their families to determine skill levels and deficits in skills, in order to create a tailored program for your child through intensive 1:1 or group learning. Intensive 1:1 instruction – To increase the skill levels of each child and to ensure that the child is able to generalize skills successfully in the natural environment. Group Learning – To support the transition of children, who have acquired advanced skills, to a mainstream classroom setting, and includes instruction and activities in small groups that resemble a typical classroom, but with the intensive support of our highly trained ABA specialists.

Assessment
ABC provides functional assessments to children and their families to determine skill levels and deficits in social skills, communication, self-help skills and academics. A detailed assessment report is provided, including clinical recommendations, and a follow-up meeting is available for the family to discuss recommendations and appropriate services.

Intensive 1:1 Services
Our center-based program is designed to provide intensive 1:1 instruction, including discrete trial and natural environment teaching, to increase the skill levels of each child and to ensure that the child is able to generalize skills successfully in the natural environment. Services are provided between 20 and 40 hours per week, depending on the needs of each child, and primarily in one of our purpose-built centers, providing a fun and safe learning environment. Home sessions can also be arranged, helping the child learn daily living skills in their natural environment and providing parent training and support on skills targeted at home.

Group Learning
For children with advanced skills in certain areas, but still needing some 1:1 instruction, group learning services provide the opportunity for children to grow in a less restricted environment, learning in small groups, while still benefiting from the support of intensive services.

Graduate Program
This program is ideal for children in need of support to transition to a mainstream classroom setting, and includes instruction and activities in small groups that resemble a typical classroom, but with the intensive support of our highly trained ABA specialists.
