What is an IEP?

What is an Individualized Educational Plan [IEP]?

An IEP is a document that outlines the specific goals and objectives for your child’s ABA program at ABC.

It is developed by our BCBA team according to your child’s specific needs, and it is designed to help your child make progress in their skills, and reach their full potential.

At ABC, the IEP is an important tool to help the ABC team track progress and make adjustments to the ABA program as needed. The IEP will outline specific goals for the child to work on with ABC, such as improving communication skills, increasing social interactions, and reducing problem behaviors.

The ABC team will regularly assess the child’s progress and make changes to the IEP as needed to ensure that the child is making progress towards their goals. You, as a parent, play an important role in the development and implementation of the IEP, as you can provide us with valuable input on the child’s strengths and needs.

If you have any questions about ABA programs or IEPs, please feel free to contact us. We are here to support you and your child throughout their journey toward reaching their full potential.
