ABC Assessments

At ABC, we believe in providing comprehensive and individualized assessments for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental delays.

Our assessments are all done by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs),  who have the necessary expertise to create effective ABA programs for children with Autism. [click here to learn more about BCBA]

The ABC assessment process consists of three steps:

1.BCBA consultation

Understand steps needed for your child

45 minutes

During this one-to-one consultation, the BCBA will discuss your child’s specific case and assess whether ABA can benefit them. Guidance will be provided on the next steps for you as a parent, including external services. Note that the child should not be present at this consultation as it is done only with the parent.

2.Core skill assessment

Primary holistic analysis of the ABA needs of the child with recommendations on ABA program and duration

60-90 minutes

The BCBA will conduct this assessment with the child present. Throughout the assessment, the BCBA will observe and note the skill levels of the child and recommend an ABA program accordingly.

According to the above two assessments, you can then make the choice to enroll your child at ABC, and begin their ABA program. At the beginning of their ABA program, the team will do the most important step, creating their own, unique, tailored ABA program.

3.Individualized educational program (IEP)

Deep analysis of the child’s skills and needs to create a tailored ABA program for their specific skill deficits and needs

3 hours

After enrollment, the BCBA and the ABA team will create a full 6-12 month Individualized Education Program (IEP) for your child. This program will address specific skill deficits and needs such as communication skills, social skills, sensory and behavioral issues, academic skills, and everyday life skills. Please note that this is part of the ABA program.

At ABC, we are committed to providing high-quality assessments and ABA programs that are tailored to the needs of each child. Contact us today to schedule a consultation with one of our BCBAs.
